+ Enjoyed the concept of Elves warring with Dragons for centuries. - Serious plot hole is overlooked. At the end of Dragonspawn, the rogue Nebuchar crushes and kills Valdaimon's crow familiar yet at the very beginning of Dragon War his crow is alive, well and spying on Bagsby again. It makes no sense and it's never explained. It really bothered me and I'm not sure how the author could have overlooked this. - Author uses the name Elrond as the ”common” name for one of the oldest elves in the realm while his ”true” name is Lelolan. Dragon War ended up being rather disappointing considering how much I enjoyed Dragonspawn. As I mentioned it felt incredibly rushed (like the author had a deadline the next morning and stayed up all night trying to finish the story) and incomplete. There were lots of great ideas and story arcs Acres could have explored but just never did. It felt like he gave up trying to be creative, didn't want to finish the story and just decided to end it with a quick resolution without bothering to expand on an interesting story. I don't expect nor want every fantasy story to be as lengthy as the Wheel of Time or Sword of Truth series but it seems shorter stories like this one always feel incomplete. Sometimes the earlier the book ends the better but in this case it was unfortunate because I really enjoyed the story. 6 ay gece 6 ay gündüz.Sezon 10.
